Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Tim grew up playing baseball and the guitar. He served in the Navy training as a mechanical operator in the nuclear power program. He then completed his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan. He successful built a large practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan before migrating west to Montana. He has been practicing in Kalispell since 1996 and opened his new clinic here at Advanced Rehabilitation Services January 2007. He is an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) with extensive training in osteopathic manipulation. He is also certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment of spinal disorders (cert. MDT). He developed an interest in treating neck and jaw pain in physical therapy school and has continued to train in this area. He recently became the only physical therapist in Montana to be a Certified Cervical and Temporomandibular Therapist (CCTT). He is a specialist in vestibular rehabilitation and treating people with vertigo and dizziness. He is married to Jolene, the office manager, and has three children. He enjoys playing the guitar, camping and hiking in the summer and avoiding serious injury from skiing in the winter.

Brian grew up in Potomac, Montana learning to love the outdoors. He graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and later completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana. Brian has been practicing in the valley for 12 years and has an interest in all musculoskeletal problems, but has focused on foot and ankle care, shoulder rehab and back care. He desires to help each patient understand the biomechanics of their problem so they can take control of fixing their problem. As an avid long distance runner, cross-country skier and road biker, he has enjoyed working with running injuries and prevention. Brian lives in Kalispell with his wife and two young sons. Most weekends, the Miller family can be found hiking or skiing the backcountry.

Lynnell grew up in the countryside outside of Baltimore, Maryland. Lynnell graduated from the University of Maryland School of Physical Therapy in 1993. She spent some time as a traveling physical therapist when she discovered that Montana truly was the “Last Best Place to Live.” She practiced in Billings for a few years before falling in love with the Flathead Valley and moving here in 2000. She has worked in diverse clinical settings with various patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics. She has a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and especially enjoys working with people that have Multiple Sclerosis. She also enjoys helping people reduce their risk for falling through implementing balance programs. Lynnell has attended all of the McKenzie Method of Diagnosis and Therapy for the spine and is currently studying to become a Certified McKenzie Therapist. Lynnell lives with her family in Whitefish. She can be found spending her spare time enjoying the Montana outdoors mountain biking and hiking in the summer as well as snowboarding and cross-country skiing in the winter.

Tracie joined our staff in May 2008 after completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana. Tracie grew up in Mohall, North Dakota, a very small farm town near the Canadian border. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California. She took a year off and spent it in the Flathead Valley working as an aide with Tim and Brian before starting physical therapy school. Tracie returned to the valley again to do an internship with Brian. We were excited to learn she wanted to come on board our practice as we knew her skills well. She has been mentoring under Tim Gibbs for Vestibular Rehabilitation and fall risk reduction programs. She also has a professional interest in Athletic Training. In her spare time, Tracie enjoys hiking, biking and snowshoeing as well as photography in Glacier National Park.

Jolene grew up in northern Michigan and received a Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University with an emphasis in Biomedical Sciences and Chemistry. She then moved to Montana, where she completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in 2000. She practiced in Billings for a few years before moving to the Flathead Valley in 2002. She has primarily practiced in the geriatric population, but left full time practice when she had her first son a week after the clinic opened. She now manages the clinic from home and is able to get the best of both worlds by being a stay at home mom and keeping up with physical therapy through managing the clinic. She enjoys to spend time camping with her family in the summer and skate skiing in the winter.
